Peer review remains one of the foundational processes in science. Despite its well-known challenges and limitations, no viable alternative has yet matched its role in ensuring research quality and credibility. Each year, researchers worldwide collectively spend an estimated 15,000 years reviewing scientific papers. At the same time, the rapid growth in the volume of submissions is placing increasing pressure on the system. Ensuring the quality, integrity, and fairness of reviews has become progressively more difficult for conference chairs and journal editors. In addition to evaluating research, chairs and editors must manage numerous administrative tasks related to the peer review process, often diverting their attention from what matters most: the scientific content itself. SCHORE aims to address these challenges by integrating AI-powered services into the peer review process. The platform supports key tasks such as reviewer matching, workflow management, and communication, while offering an intuitive, conversational interface.
